- 2 BRIDOR Cereals and Seeds Loaves
- 500 g GARDEN GOURMET® Veggie Chargrilled Pieces
- 270 g grated Beaufort
- 80 ml whipping cream
- 1 whole egg
- 15 g chopped chives
- 100 g rocket
- Salt and pepper
Preparation steps
- Mix the grated Beaufort with the cream, egg and chives.
- Cut each loaf into 10 slices and toast them under the salamander grill.
- Place the Chargrilled Veggie Pieces on 10 slices of bread.
- Add a small amount of the cheese mixture to the GARDEN GOURMET® Chargrilled Veggie Pieces.
- Divide the rest of the mixture over the 10 remaining slices of bread.
- Grill under the salamander until nicely browned.
- Place a few rocket leaves on each slice of bread covered with GARDEN GOURMET® Chargrilled Veggie Pieces then assemble the toastie by adding the top slice.
Chef's tip
You can serve these toasties with a salad, or vary the veggie toasties by replacing the Beaufort with Comté, Emmental, Abondance or Gruyère.
